A considered way to create furniture made for your room.

From first enquiry to final delivery, the process is designed to be clear, personal, and measured — with every decision shaped around the room, the material, and the way the piece will be used.

Steps

From first conversation to final placement.

01Initial Enquiry

Share your room and idea.

Begin with the type of furniture you need, where it will live, and any approximate dimensions, photos, or inspiration you already have.

Helpful to include
  • Room photos
  • Approximate measurements
  • Preferred furniture type
  • Finish preferences
  • Budget range
  • Ideal timeframe
02Direction

We shape the direction.

We review the details and advise on proportions, material, finish, practical considerations, and whether the project is a good fit for the studio.

Note

Initial guidance on proportion, finish, and practical considerations.

03Proposal & Estimate

You receive a proposal and estimate.

Once the direction is clear, we prepare a proposal outlining the piece, dimensions, finish, estimated cost, and expected timeframe.

Includes
  • Furniture type and design direction
  • Approximate or confirmed dimensions
  • Oak finish and material notes
  • Estimated cost
  • Expected timeframe
  • Delivery or installation notes
04Approval & Making

Approval and making.

After the proposal is approved, the final details are confirmed and the piece is scheduled for making in solid oak.

05Delivery or Installation

Delivery or installation.

Finished furniture is prepared for delivery. Built-in or fitted pieces are discussed separately depending on access, location, and installation requirements.

Note

Delivery is arranged carefully around the piece, the home, and the final placement.

Timeframes

Timeframes depend on the piece.

Timeframes depend on the scale and detail of the commission. Smaller freestanding pieces may begin from a few weeks, while larger cabinets, dining tables, and built-in projects usually require a longer production window.

We will always discuss the expected timeframe before a commission is confirmed.

Pricing

Pricing reflects material, scale, and detail.

Every piece is priced individually because size, oak selection, construction detail, finish, and delivery requirements all affect the final cost.

After the initial enquiry, we can usually give a broad indication before preparing a more detailed proposal.

If you are unsure about budget, include a range in the enquiry form and we will advise what may be realistic.
